CALLS: Rencontres interdisciplinaires EMERGENCE/Y 2022

Hexagram’s 2021-2022 Interdisciplinary season programming on the theme EMERGENCE/Y launched last September at the Ars Electronica Festival, following an initial call for projects. Hexagram presented a series of synchronous and asynchronous streaming-based events specifically curated and produced for the Festival. Over 50 co-investigator members, student members and Hexagram collaborators, as well as their collaborators, presented their most recent work, research and contributed insightful live discussions to the four-day programme.

CALL FOR NEW STUDENT MEMBERS

Deadline: October 28, 2021
Hexagram launches its call for applications to become a student-member of the Network. Comprised of 46 co-investigators , over 200 collaborators and student members, the Network collaborates with several cultural and research institutions in Québec, Canada and internationally to organize and promote research-creation collaborations, knowledge exchange events between experts from different disciplines, and disseminate new forms of artistic creation in the public space.

PROJECT AND PRODUCTION MANAGER OF HEXAGRAM’S 20TH ANNIVERSARY GALA

Under the supervision of the Hexagram co-directors and general coordinator, this special project manager will be responsible for planning and production of the evening GALA in celebration of Hexagram Network 20th anniversary, as well as the showcase of our members’ accomplishments of 2019-2021. The GALA is scheduled to take place on Thursday, December 2nd at Agora – Coeur des sciences.

The REC Podcast is expanding its team!

Are you interested in the popularization and dissemination of research-creation?

The REC research-creation podcast (rec.hexagram.ca) is currently looking for collaborators to expand its team. We are looking for people who can assist us with the coordination of our activities as well as take part in the research, production and animation of content, depending on their motivation. This is a great way to contribute to the Hexagram Network’s dissemination mission and getting in touch with interesting and renowned academics while developing a media and podcasting experience.
