Interdisciplinary Encounters 2020
Drawings of tree nuts and typography on Kraft paper, “compost-ions” created from web pages, and a visual sampling drawn from support groups, individuals, and commercial websites with an interest in nut-bearing trees. The drawings play on a desire to reconnect with the tree that exists elsewhere. A gourmet invitation conveyed through a single line, an analog-to-digital relay. Ripened bookmarks, intended to nourish both body and mind.
Drawings by Gisèle Trudel, 2020.
