Together with the human and more\u2011than\u2011human beings, living and non\u2011living, that inhabit or haunt these spaces, they developed what they call a \u201cco\u2011landscape writing\u201d practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Back on stage, they compose a hybrid form between installation and theatre, intended as the reverberation of their co\u2011listening encounters with these landscapes. <em>Hanter avec le paysage<\/em> is also a performance rooted in eco-dramaturgy, where bodies, sound, and video open onto a poetic narrative that is almost raw\u2014and at times ghostly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>This activity is presented as part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/hexagram.ca\/fr\/rencontres-interdisciplinaires-2026\/\">2026 <\/a><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/hexagram.ca\/fr\/rencontres-interdisciplinaires-2026\/\"><strong>Interdisciplinary Encounters<\/strong><\/a><strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Biographies<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Jean\u2011Paul Qu\u00e9innec<\/strong> is a professor of theatre at the Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Chicoutimi (UQAC), director of the <a href=\"https:\/\/celat.ca\/\">CELAT-UQAC<\/a> research centre, and co\u2011lead of the research\u2011creation axis at <a href=\"https:\/\/crilcq.org\/\">CRILCQ<\/a>. From 2010&nbsp;to&nbsp;2021, he held the <a href=\"https:\/\/recherche.uqac.ca\/chaire-de-recherche-en-creation-pour-une-dramaturgie-sonore-au-theatre\">Chaire de recherche du Canada en dramaturgie sonore au th\u00e9\u00e2tre<\/a>. His research\u2011creation work examines dramatic and scenic writing processes and devices through ecological, plural, inclusive, and performative approaches. He publishes in various scholarly and professional journals, and his creations are presented in Qu\u00e9bec and abroad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Andr\u00e9e\u2011Anne Gigu\u00e8re<\/strong> is an interdisciplinary artist whose active practice includes acting, performance, video design for the stage, research, directing, and teaching. As the co\u2011artistic director of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theatredechaines.com\/\">Th\u00e9\u00e2tre D\u00e9cha\u00een\u00e9s<\/a>, she directed <em>Les souliers plein de sable<\/em> in partnership with students from the <a href=\"Les%20Muses\">Les Muses<\/a> school. A doctoral candidate at Universit\u00e9 Laval, her research focuses on the sensitive integration of technology on stage. She publishes in scholarly journals and presents her creative work in Qu\u00e9bec and internationally. With Jean\u2011Paul Qu\u00e9innec, she co\u2011edited five phonography booklets (<a href=\"https:\/\/cindydumais.net\/index.php\/la-clignotante\">LaClignotante micro\u2011editions<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/%C3%89ric_No%C3%ABl\"><strong>\u00c9ric No\u00ebl<\/strong><\/a> is a non\u2011binary writer, translator, and performer from Tiohti\u00e0:ke\/Mooniyang\/Montr\u00e9al, recently appointed Artistic Director of <a href=\"https:\/\/uqam.sharepoint.com\/sites\/GroupeUQAMHexagram\/Documents%20partages\/01_HexagramR\u00c9SEAU\/04_Activities\/02_Productions\/2025-2026\/RI%202026\/Chantier_Performa\/20260418_Hanter%20avec%20le%20paysage\/Jamais%20Lu\">Jamais Lu<\/a>. In 2024, they received the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cead.qc.ca\/la-fondation\/prix-de-la-fondation\/prix-michel-tremblay\">Michel\u2011Tremblay Award<\/a> for their text <em>L\u2019Amoure Looks Something Like You<\/em> (Hamac, 2022), which had been staged at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.denise-pelletier.qc.ca\/\">Th\u00e9\u00e2tre Denise\u2011Pelletier<\/a>\u2019s Fred\u2011Barry space. Their play <em>Ces regards amoureux de gar\u00e7ons alt\u00e9r\u00e9s<\/em> (Lem\u00e9ac \u00c9diteur, 2025), premiered at <a href=\"https:\/\/theatreprospero.com\/\">Th\u00e9\u00e2tre Prospero<\/a> in April 2025 in a staging by Philippe Cyr, received the <a href=\"https:\/\/ggbooks.ca\/\">Governor General\u2019s Literary Award<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through an eclectic approach blending literary creation, theatre, and immersive audio, <strong>Gabrielle Couillard<\/strong>, a student member of the Hexagram Network, works across production and creation on a wide range of projects. Her work combines poetry, field recording, and chained sound transformations, supported by a rich aural imagination that enables her to design complex sound\u2011diffusion systems. Her main interests revolve around spatialization and immersion, where she explores the relationship between body and space through sound, grounded in her lived experience of disability (<em>Dispositif Espace\u2011Corps<\/em>, 2022\u20132024\u2009; <em>Territoires<\/em>, 2023).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Marion Bibeau<\/strong> is a multidisciplinary artist and master\u2019s student in art at the Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Chicoutimi. Her work combines photography, video, painting, sculpture, performance, and sound to create a space between personal mythology and collective imagination.
