en 1978 \u00e0 Mexico) explore l&rsquo;exp\u00e9rience de l&rsquo;\u00e9coute politique et les \u00e9tudes de genre en mettant en lumi\u00e8re les pratiques de soundwalking. Form\u00e9e et dipl\u00f4m\u00e9e initialement en tant que sc\u00e9nographe \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00c9cole nationale de th\u00e9\u00e2tre, Guti\u00e9rrez utilise une gamme d&rsquo;outils de m\u00e9dias num\u00e9riques pour \u00e9tudier les agences sonores de la vie quotidienne et les identit\u00e9s collectives. L&rsquo;approche de ces questions \u00e0 partir de perspectives auditives continue de susciter un int\u00e9r\u00eat particulier chez Guti\u00e9rrez, qui a obtenu un MFA en \u00e9tudes des m\u00e9dias et de la performance \u00e0 la School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Elle d\u00e9veloppe actuellement la dimension acad\u00e9mique de son travail en tant qu&rsquo;\u00e9tudiante au doctorat en arts et sciences humaines \u00e0 l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 Concordia.
