Tout en marchant, nous avons utilis\u00e9 nos sens pour d\u00e9couvrir le quartier, partag\u00e9 des histoires personnelles, ramass\u00e9 des d\u00e9bris et mang\u00e9 des collations. L&rsquo;atelier a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 la station de m\u00e9tro Saint-Laurent, o\u00f9 nous avons r\u00e9fl\u00e9chi \u00e0 notre relation avec cet endroit : la terre, l&rsquo;histoire du quartier, nos souvenirs personnels et nos exp\u00e9riences du moment. Tricia Enns a d\u00e9ball\u00e9 le mat\u00e9riel de fabrication de papier sur un banc du parc. Ensuite, chaque personne a cr\u00e9\u00e9 et s&rsquo;est soutenue mutuellement pour r\u00e9aliser des cartographies de d\u00e9bris \u00e0 partir des mat\u00e9riaux compr\u00e9hension du Quartier des Spectacles par la marche et l&rsquo;exp\u00e9rience tactile de la cartographie en utilisant des d\u00e9bris collect\u00e9s et des techniques de fabrication de photos : Christine White<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>L&rsquo;atelier participatif \u00e9tait un prolongement du travail de recherche-cr\u00e9ation de Tricia Enns, supervis\u00e9 par Alice Jarry, du d\u00e9partement de design et d&rsquo;arts informatiques de l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 Concordia, intitul\u00e9 Narrative Debris. Dans le cadre de cette recherche, Enns explore comment des formes alternatives de cartographie du Quartier des Spectacles peuvent \u00eatre utilis\u00e9es pour d\u00e9couvrir de nouvelles perspectives et de nouveaux r\u00e9cits li\u00e9s au contexte socio-politique du quartier.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1200\" height=\"600\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/TVexUb6LSWc\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<p>Enns utilise la marche et la collecte de d\u00e9bris comme catalyseurs de conversations entre les participant\u00b7e\u00b7s et sur le Quartier des Spectacles lui-m\u00eame. Les d\u00e9bris sont souvent per\u00e7us de mani\u00e8re n\u00e9gative, comme \u00e9tant sales, ind\u00e9sirables ou contamin\u00e9s. Pourtant, dans <em>Narrative Debris<\/em>, les d\u00e9bris sont collect\u00e9s comme des indices pr\u00e9cieux ou des traces de ce qui a \u00e9t\u00e9. Par exemple, un peigne cass\u00e9 peut \u00e9voquer la personne qui l&rsquo;a utilis\u00e9, ses cheveux et leur apparence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Au cours de l&rsquo;atelier <em>Mapping Debris Together<\/em>, les participant\u00b7e\u00b7s ont \u00e9t\u00e9 invit\u00e9s \u00e0 ramasser des d\u00e9bris qui attiraient leur regard. Ces d\u00e9bris ont ensuite \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9s dans les cartographies cr\u00e9\u00e9es sur la Place de la Paix. Au total, 7 cartes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9es pendant l&rsquo;atelier. En cr\u00e9ant des cartes du Quartier des Spectacles dans un espace public, nous ne faisions pas que documenter nos exp\u00e9riences du quartier, mais nous contribuions \u00e0 de nouvelles exp\u00e9riences et conceptions de ce que le quartier est et pourrait \u00eatre. Elle termine actuellement sa ma\u00eetrise en design \u00e0 l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 Concordia, sous la direction de Alice Jarry [membre cochercheure, Concordia]. Son travail de recherche-cr\u00e9ation, Narrative Debris, explore comment les pratiques de contre-cartographie qui combinent la marche, la fabrication de papier et les d\u00e9bris peuvent explorer les r\u00e9cits sociopolitiques cach\u00e9s ou n\u00e9glig\u00e9s du Quartier des Spectacles \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al. Son approche combine souvent des m\u00e9thodes ludiques et participatives qui encouragent les individus \u00e0 r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir de mani\u00e8re critique \u00e0 la fa\u00e7on dont la conception des espaces publics influence nos d\u00e9placements et nos interactions. Enns est cofondatrice de This Playground Collective, un groupe international d&rsquo;artistes qui cr\u00e9ent des \u0153uvres interactives remettant en question nos relations avec diff\u00e9rents espaces publics par-del\u00e0 les fronti\u00e8res. This Playground Collective a re\u00e7u un financement du Scotland Arts Council en 2021 et a facilit\u00e9 une d\u00e9ambulation \u00e0 Bath, au Royaume-Uni, lors du festival Fringe Arts Bath en juin 2022. Dans une vie ant\u00e9rieure, Enns \u00e9tait ing\u00e9nieur en conception de syst\u00e8mes, d\u00e9veloppant des comp\u00e9tences techniques qu&rsquo;elle applique maintenant \u00e0 sa pratique artistique par le biais de microcontr\u00f4leurs int\u00e9gr\u00e9s dans des cartographies fragiles et temporelles en papier fait main, dont une s\u00e9rie a re\u00e7u une subvention de recherche du p\u00f4le Textile et mat\u00e9rialit\u00e9 de l&rsquo;Institut Milieux et a \u00e9t\u00e9 expos\u00e9e \u00e0 In the Middle Chimera en avril\/mai 2022.
