Cet atelier apprendra aux participants comment utiliser le logiciel libre et multiplateforme ossia score, en partant des bases, et dans le but de leur permettre de cr\u00e9er des installations, \u0153uvres, et musiques interactives. Les ateliers seront men\u00e9s par l’auteur principal du logiciel, Jean-Micha\u00ebl Celerier, post-doctorant \u00e0 Concordia.<\/p>\n

Surnomm\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0s\u00e9quenceur interactif pour les arts interm\u00e9dias\u00a0\u00bb, ossia score est un syst\u00e8me qui combine \u00e0 la fois les paradigmes de lignes temporelles non lin\u00e9aires et de flot de donn\u00e9es pour permettre aux artistes de cr\u00e9er des \u0153uvres d’art multim\u00e9dia riches et \u00e9volutives, des pi\u00e8ces musicales, des installations mus\u00e9ales, etc. Il s’agit essentiellement d’un s\u00e9quenceur prenant en charge de nombreux protocoles de communication tels que les protocoles OSC, WebSockets, DMX, MIDI ou port s\u00e9rie, ainsi qu’un pipeline audio et vid\u00e9o en temps r\u00e9el. Diverses fonctionnalit\u00e9s utiles aux codeurs cr\u00e9atifs et r\u00e9gisseurs interm\u00e9dias, telles que : live-coding avec Javascript, GLSL, C++, la prise en charge du tempo, des m\u00e9triques musicales, des polyrythmes hi\u00e9rarchiques, de l’\u00e9dition et de l’ex\u00e9cution distribu\u00e9es et collaboratives et des fonctions interactives et de bouclage dans sa timeline seront pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es, ainsi qu’un ensemble croissant de processus interactifs et une biblioth\u00e8que d’effets et de pr\u00e9s\u00e9lections. Les ateliers porteront \u00e9galement sur la mani\u00e8re de cr\u00e9er des \u0153uvres d’art qui tirent parti, par exemple, des plateformes embarqu\u00e9es (Raspberry Pi, Arduino) ou des pages web. Besoins sp\u00e9cifiques pour l\u2019atelier<\/h2>\n

– Les participant.es devront utiliser leur propre ordinateur et v\u00e9rifier au pr\u00e9alable que la derni\u00e8re version d’ossia score fonctionne sur leur machine. Le logiciel est gratuit et disponible sur les versions r\u00e9centes de Windows, macOS et Linux. Il peut \u00eatre t\u00e9l\u00e9charg\u00e9 ici.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u00c0 qui s’adresse cet atelier?<\/h2>\n

Les artistes m\u00e9diatiques qui utilisent des logiciels tels que Max\/MSP, PureData, Unity3D, TouchDesigner, etc. et qui sont int\u00e9ress\u00e9s par la d\u00e9couverte d’un nouveau syst\u00e8me logiciel gratuit permettant la cr\u00e9ation de lignes de temps interactives pour leurs \u0153uvres.<\/p>\n

Biographie de l’intervenant<\/h2>\n

Jean-Micha\u00ebl Celerier, n\u00e9 en France en 1992, s’int\u00e9resse \u00e0 l’art, au code, \u00e0 l’informatique musicale et aux spectacles interactifs. Il a \u00e9tudi\u00e9 le g\u00e9nie logiciel, l’informatique et les technologies multim\u00e9dia \u00e0 Bordeaux, et a obtenu son doctorat sur le th\u00e8me de l’authoring des m\u00e9dias temporels en 2018. Il d\u00e9veloppe et maintient une gamme de logiciels libres et open-source utilis\u00e9s pour le codage cr\u00e9atif et l’art interm\u00e9dia. La plupart de son travail est centr\u00e9 sur la plateforme ossia pour laquelle il est le d\u00e9veloppeur principal. Il aime organiser des \u00e9v\u00e9nements sur la programmation et les arts m\u00e9diatiques.
