En plus de discussions formelles, l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement comprendra des capsules vid\u00e9os et int\u00e9grera une dimension r\u00e9solument performative, ancr\u00e9e dans l\u2019action, le faire, la d\u00e9mo, et ce depuis les lieux m\u00eame de cr\u00e9ation et de diffusion (Centre Pompidou, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.concordia.ca\/cunews\/finearts\/2021\/01\/concordians-exhibit-sustainable-research-creation-project-at-the-pompidou-centre.html?c=%2Ffinearts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Speculative Life Biolab<\/em><\/a> de l\u2019Institut Milieux de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 Concordia). <\/p>\n<p>    <!--more-->  Dans le contexte actuel de crise sanitaire, elle-m\u00eame reflet de la crise \u00e9cologique, les images sont \u00e0 la fois un rem\u00e8de et un probl\u00e8me : elles permettent de limiter les d\u00e9placements et de conserver des rapports sociaux, \u00e0 distance, mais elles ont aussi un impact \u00e9cologique que l\u2019on ne peut plus n\u00e9gliger. Comment repenser la mat\u00e9rialit\u00e9 de l\u2019image au prisme de cette double approche ? Comment mettre en \u0153uvre des images qui, par leur mat\u00e9rialit\u00e9, nous rendent davantage pr\u00e9sent.e.s les un.e.s aux autres, et pr\u00e9sent.e.s \u00e0 notre environnement ? <\/p>\n<p>    La r\u00e9flexion sera modul\u00e9e selon trois concepts pivots : (1) <em>empreinte-fossile<\/em> qui questionnera les \u00e9co-signatures laiss\u00e9es par les images contemporaines; (2) <em>\u00e9nergie r\u00e9siduelle<\/em> qui interrogera les m\u00e9thodes de capture et de r\u00e9cup\u00e9ration \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques li\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019image et; (3) <em>mati\u00e8re-donn\u00e9es<\/em> qui examinera de mani\u00e8re critique l&rsquo;ubiquit\u00e9 des donn\u00e9es massives et le poids infrastructurel et socio-environnemental de celles-ci.
