Ce projet pars du constat que le concept du \u201cStoryworld\u201d, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire le monde o\u00f9 vivent les personnages d&rsquo;une histoire (Ryan, 2013), est souvent n\u00e9glig\u00e9 au profit du temps, du lieu ou de l\u2019intrigue lorsqu\u2019il s\u2019agit d\u2019archiver une oeuvre litt\u00e9raire. Cette recherche-cr\u00e9ation tente de r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 la question suivante : <b>comment les archives num\u00e9riques peuvent-elles \u00eatre spatialis\u00e9es et crois\u00e9es dans un environnement immersif (VR), de mani\u00e8re \u00e0 g\u00e9n\u00e9rer l\u2019exp\u00e9rience du \u201cstoryworld\u201d d\u2019une \u0153uvre ? <\/b><\/p><\/div><\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<div class=\"justified\"><p> Alouache a choisi comme objet d\u2019\u00e9tude le po\u00e8me \u00e9pique <i>Purgatoire<\/i>, seconde partie de <i>La Divine Com\u00e9die<\/i> de Dante Alighieri, publi\u00e9 en 1321. Sept si\u00e8cles apr\u00e8s la publication de l&rsquo;\u0153uvre originale, le \u201cStoryworld\u201d de ce po\u00e8me est aujourd\u2019hui enrichi de nombreuses rem\u00e9diations. Le Projet Purgamondo propose d\u2019archiver ses innombrables adaptations linguistiques et m\u00e9diatiques (traductions, peintures, commentaires, etc.), r\u00e9alis\u00e9es par des artistes et des chercheurs dont les interpr\u00e9tations sont profond\u00e9ment ancr\u00e9es dans leurs \u00e9poques respectives.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/hexagram.uqam.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/1_DEMO_PM_11-1-1024x576.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2626\" srcset=\"https:\/\/hexagram.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/1_DEMO_PM_11-1-1024x576.png 1024w, https:\/\/hexagram.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/1_DEMO_PM_11-1-300x169.png 300w, https:\/\/hexagram.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/1_DEMO_PM_11-1-768x432.png 768w, https:\/\/hexagram.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/1_DEMO_PM_11-1-1536x864.png 1536w, https:\/\/hexagram.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/1_DEMO_PM_11-1-2048x1152.png 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"justified\"><p>Afin de repr\u00e9senter le \u00ab\u00a0Storyworld\u00a0\u00bb complexe de cette \u0153uvre majeure, Alouache utilise la m\u00e9taphore des d\u00e9bris d&rsquo;une plan\u00e8te explos\u00e9e, o\u00f9 l\u2019ensemble des fragments forment une archive sph\u00e9rique au sein de laquelle la ligne du temps d\u00e9bute en son centre pour se terminer \u00e0 la p\u00e9riph\u00e9rie. L\u2019objectif de cette m\u00e9taphore est de r\u00e9imaginer le Purgatoire \u00e0 travers diverses sources secondaires d\u00e9riv\u00e9es d\u2019un original perdu \u00e0 jamais. Par cons\u00e9quent, le \u00ab\u00a0Storyworld\u00a0\u00bb r\u00e9sulte d\u2019une interpr\u00e9tation combin\u00e9e de plusieurs \u0153uvres individuelles \u00e9clat\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019interface recr\u00e9e un univers spatial dont la navigation entra\u00eene une sensation de lente d\u00e9rive. Ceci nous permet d\u2019entrer et de sortir de l\u2019orbite des fragments rencontr\u00e9s, que nous pouvons consulter tout en \u00e9tant maintenus dans leur champ gravitationnel. Suite \u00e0 l&rsquo;aper\u00e7u d&rsquo;un fragment, ses diff\u00e9rents \u00e9l\u00e9ments peuvent \u00eatre crois\u00e9s et compar\u00e9s avec n&rsquo;importe quel autre \u00e9l\u00e9ment de la m\u00eame modalit\u00e9 textuelle, de mani\u00e8re \u00e0 faire \u00e9merger l\u2019intertextualit\u00e9 des \u0153uvres. De mani\u00e8re similaire, les visuels qui d\u00e9filent peuvent \u00eatre compar\u00e9s \u00e0 n&rsquo;importe quel autre visuel de l\u2019archive. Le son et la vid\u00e9o sont \u00e9galement accessibles et feront partie de cet \u00e9cosyst\u00e8me en expansion.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery aligncenter columns-4 is-cropped class=\"justified\"><p><br>Alouache con\u00e7oit ce syst\u00e8me de navigation suivant une approche transfictionnelle qui encourage la travers\u00e9e interpr\u00e9tative de l&rsquo;\u0153uvre \u00e0 travers diff\u00e9rents textes et m\u00e9diums (Ryan, 2013). Dans cette optique, on peut acc\u00e9der \u00e0 l&rsquo;ensemble des archives \u00e0 partir de n&rsquo;importe quel point d&rsquo;entr\u00e9e, en commen\u00e7ant, par exemple, la lecture au 20e si\u00e8cle, avant de la poursuivre au 17e si\u00e8cle. Il s&rsquo;agit d&rsquo;une sorte de saut dans l&rsquo;espace et le temps, possible gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la mise en relation s\u00e9mantique des m\u00e9tadonn\u00e9es de navigation qui \u00e9vite l\u2019usage d\u2019hyperliens statiques. Au-del\u00e0 de l&rsquo;interface, le projet devient un outil qui favorise l&rsquo;\u00e9change de donn\u00e9es dans un contexte de co-cr\u00e9ation et de co-recherche. Lors d\u2019une recherche en temps r\u00e9el l&rsquo;interface en prend notes \u00e0 l\u2019aide de m\u00e9tadonn\u00e9es correspondant \u00e0 la partie sp\u00e9cifique de la navigation. Les \u00e9l\u00e9ments not\u00e9s forment alors une constellation qui regroupe des interpr\u00e9tations coh\u00e9rentes et un parcours peut \u00eatre affich\u00e9 \u00e0 tout moment pour voir ce qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 explor\u00e9. De mani\u00e8re g\u00e9n\u00e9rale, l&rsquo;interface transforme l\u2019usage habituel des bases de donn\u00e9es afin de concevoir un syst\u00e8me d&rsquo;archivage centr\u00e9 sur le \u201cStoryworld\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<div class=\"aligncenter\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/I_3MPLb_yyk\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" width=\"960\" height=\"540\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Cette D\u00c9MO est pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e dans le cadre des midi-rencontres <a href=\"http:\/\/hexagram.ca\/index.php\/fr\/blog-evenement-a-venir-fr\/545-sur-exposition-diffusion-ou-creation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sur_Exposition<\/a>, co-organis\u00e9 par l\u2019UQAC &#8211; \u00c9cole NAD, le Laboratoire MIMESIS et Hexagram. SUR_Exposition pr\u00e9sente des travaux et des initiatives portant sur les modalit\u00e9s de cr\u00e9ation, de diffusion, et de m\u00e9diation artistiques par les nouveaux espaces virtuels et immersifs.<\/p>\n<h3>BIOGRAPHIE<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/redain.portfoliobox.net\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Reda Alouache<\/a> est un artiste g\u00e9n\u00e9raliste 3D qui a port\u00e9 de nombreux chapeaux professionnels au cours de ses 16 ann\u00e9es d&rsquo;exp\u00e9rience dans le secteur de l&rsquo;animation. Il a d\u2019abord travaill\u00e9 comme artiste d\u2019animation 3D dans la publicit\u00e9, l&rsquo;\u00e9v\u00e9nementiel et la t\u00e9l\u00e9vision pendant une d\u00e9cennie, puis a occup\u00e9 pendant plusieurs ann\u00e9es des postes de coordination pour des s\u00e9ries anim\u00e9es 3D. En plus de ses \u00e9tudes en graphisme, il a suivi une formation de webmaster lors de l&rsquo;av\u00e8nement du Web 2.0. Ces \u00e9tudes l&rsquo;ont initi\u00e9 \u00e0 travailler avec diff\u00e9rents types d&rsquo;interfaces pour le web et pour les pipelines de production, ce qui a fa\u00e7onn\u00e9 son approche de la cr\u00e9ation num\u00e9rique.
