L\u2019angle du \u2018selfie conventionnel\u2019 agit comme cadre conceptuel de ses exp\u00e9rimentations perform\u00e9es et performatives. Elle explore comment une incarnation consciente des gestes chor\u00e9graphi\u00e9s peut cr\u00e9er de nouvelles relations au sein de son corps dansant,  entre son corps et les images et entre le public et les images.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Morin explore intuitivement l\u2019\u00e9puisement corporel, qu\u2019elle associe, en tant que danseuse contemporaine, au sentiment d\u2019accomplissement qu\u2019elle ressent, \u00e0 bout de souffle, apr\u00e8s s\u2019\u00eatre enti\u00e8rement d\u00e9di\u00e9e \u00e0 la pi\u00e8ce chor\u00e9graphique. \u00c0 travers ses diff\u00e9rents projets de performance (<i>Trou (les beaux jours)<\/i>, <i>Skype Duet<\/i>, <i>super pose super impose toi<\/i>, <i>F(L)(V) ocalized<\/i>),elle d\u00e9veloppe un int\u00e9r\u00eat grandissant pour la coexistence entre son corps dansant qui s\u2019\u00e9puise en produisant ses images par le mouvement, et les images elles-m\u00eames.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sa m\u00e9thode chor\u00e9graphique se concentre sur le potentiel de changement et de transformation, situ\u00e9 dans l\u2019action, plut\u00f4t que dans une esth\u00e9tique ou une id\u00e9e pr\u00e9con\u00e7ue de ce qui doit \u00eatre repr\u00e9sent\u00e9. Dans <i>All Voices, Nameless and Singular<\/i>, les gestes ont pr\u00e9s\u00e9ance sur les repr\u00e9sentations visuelles, cr\u00e9\u00e9es \u00e0 travers les mouvements r\u00e9p\u00e9titifs et accumulatifs du corps, et \u00e0 travers la manipulation de son iPhone. C\u2019est sp\u00e9cifiquement par cette attention au mouvement que des relations nouvelles peuvent \u00e9merger, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire des relations nouvelles entre les diff\u00e9rents corps (humains et non-humains) impliqu\u00e9s dans la chor\u00e9graphie : son propre corps, le public, les images num\u00e9riques et les appareils technologiques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/560995231\" width=\"960\" height=\"600\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La r\u00e9p\u00e9tition de gestes d\u00e9clenche \u00e9galement une forme d\u2019attention \u00e0 ce processus d\u2019it\u00e9ration, cr\u00e9ant une exp\u00e9rience kinesth\u00e9sique particuli\u00e8re (ou kinesth\u00e9sie) par laquelle les gestes deviennent abstraits, alt\u00e9rant leur sens habituel pour donner lieu \u00e0 de nouvelles relations. Dans <i>Agency &amp; Embodiment: Performing Gestures\/Producing Culture<\/i>, Carrie Noland d\u00e9veloppe une th\u00e9orie autour de l\u2019agentivit\u00e9 du corps s\u2019exprimant \u00e0 travers les gestes, une agentivit\u00e9 qui informe les actions de la personne. Dans sa recherche, l\u2019exp\u00e9rience qui est \u00ab agentique \u00bb (Noland, 2009) se manifeste dans la conscience kinesth\u00e9sique sp\u00e9cifique \u00e0 la ma\u00eetrise de son corps entra\u00een\u00e9 qui se sent bouger \u00e0 travers ce processus r\u00e9p\u00e9titif. Cette exp\u00e9rience sensorielle peut provoquer des modifications, voire m\u00eame r\u00e9sister aux habitudes des gestes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le chevauchement entre les m\u00e9thodes chor\u00e9graphiques de Morin et la manipulation de son iPhone lui permet de r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir \u00e0 la mani\u00e8re dont la ma\u00eetrise de ces gestes, \u00e0 travers la r\u00e9p\u00e9tition, ne change pas seulement son corps, mais sa relation avec les images produites en bougeant et en manipulant son iPhone, et celle avec son iPhone. Un geste bien connu, le selfie, se voit donc transform\u00e9. \u00c0 travers ce dernier, Morin reconna\u00eet son travail en tant que geste et image. Elle a obtenu son baccalaur\u00e9at en danse \u00e0 l\u2019UQ\u00c0M en 2006, et depuis, travaille comme interpr\u00e8te en danse contemporaine pour la sc\u00e8ne, les espaces atypiques et l\u2019\u00e9cran. Elle a collabor\u00e9 avec de nombreux chor\u00e9graphes et r\u00e9alisateurs ind\u00e9pendants. Emilie a voyag\u00e9 en Europe, aux \u00c9tats-Unis et au Mexique pour pr\u00e9senter son travail, donner des conf\u00e9rences, enseigner et pour du perfectionnement professionnel.
