Cette exp\u00e9rience esth\u00e9tique transcende la simple repr\u00e9sentation visuelle pour engager l&rsquo;Autre dans une introspection profonde sur la transformation des paysages int\u00e9rieurs. Ce projet s\u2019inscrit dans la continuit\u00e9 de la recherche-cr\u00e9ation de Catherine D\u2019Amours [membre \u00e9tudiante, NAD-UQAC], d\u00e9but\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019automne 2022 sous la direction des professeurs Yan Breuleux [membre cochercheur, NAD-UQAC] et Louis-Philippe Rondeau [membre cochercheur, NAD-UQAC].<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"406\" src=\"https:\/\/hexagram.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/DEMO38_001.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-19053\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ces cycles solastalgiques font r\u00e9f\u00e9rence \u00e0 la \u00ab solastalgie \u00bb, un concept introduit et probl\u00e9matis\u00e9 par Glenn Albrecht qui pourrait \u00eatre d\u00e9fini comme un sentiment de \u00ab nostalgie et de d\u00e9tresse face \u00e0 un environnement qui a accus\u00e9 plusieurs bouleversements \u00bb (Glenn Albrecht, 2019). Dans une qu\u00eate m\u00e9thodologique visant \u00e0 retracer et \u00e0 analyser les interactions entre les paysages int\u00e9rieurs et ext\u00e9rieurs, l&rsquo;artiste adopte une d\u00e9marche rigoureuse de d\u00e9ambulation et de documentation. Cette d\u00e9marche consiste en l&rsquo;archivage quotidienne des parcours par des moyens photographiques, vid\u00e9ographiques et audio. S&rsquo;inscrivant dans le sillage th\u00e9orique de l&rsquo; \u00ab identit\u00e9 environnementale \u00bb (Clayton &amp; Opotow, 2003), l&rsquo;artiste cherche \u00e0 \u00e9tablir un rapprochement syst\u00e9matique avec le monde du Vivant.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"467\" src=\"https:\/\/hexagram.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/DEMO38_002.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-19055\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>Le projet consiste d\u2019abord en la r\u00e9alisation de captations vid\u00e9o et audio de marches. Ces enregistrements sont par la suite trait\u00e9s gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des techniques d&rsquo;apprentissage automatique, dans le but d&rsquo;explorer la repr\u00e9sentation visuelle du sentiment de solastalgie et ses qualit\u00e9s esth\u00e9tiques. Par le mouvement et la lenteur, Catherine cherche \u00e0 partager sa nostalgie face \u00e0 son environnement transform\u00e9. Bien que l&#8217;emploi de cette technologie ait enrichi son lexique artistique, il constitue aussi un commentaire critique : ces m\u00eames outils technologiques peuvent \u00eatre les instigateurs de bouleversements environnementaux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-1 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/hexagram.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/DEMO38_003.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"534\" data-id=\"19058\" src=\"https:\/\/hexagram.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/DEMO38_003.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-19058\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/hexagram.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/DEMO38_004.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"406\" data-id=\"19060\" src=\"https:\/\/hexagram.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/DEMO38_004.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-19060\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Un \u00e9l\u00e9ment central du travail de Catherine est la captation sonore. Elle a constitu\u00e9 des archives sonores, int\u00e9grant des bruits de pas, des chants d&rsquo;oiseaux et des vibrations urbaines, qui visent \u00e0 documenter son processus de reconnexion au monde biotique. Dans cette d\u00e9marche, elle a collabor\u00e9 avec Jean-Marc Poirier, artiste sonore, pour \u00e9laborer des m\u00e9lodies qui refl\u00e8tent sa transformation identitaire li\u00e9e \u00e0 l&rsquo;environnement. La structure m\u00e9tallique symbolise sa maison b\u00e2tie, qu&rsquo;elle a quitt\u00e9e pour se rapprocher de sa v\u00e9ritable maison : le monde naturel. La soie imprim\u00e9e \u00e9voque la d\u00e9licatesse et la beaut\u00e9 intrins\u00e8que du monde naturel, tandis que les paysages recompos\u00e9s sugg\u00e8rent une intervention humaine. Ce choix de mat\u00e9riaux et d&rsquo;impressions r\u00e9v\u00e8le une r\u00e9flexion sur la mani\u00e8re dont l&rsquo;humain per\u00e7oit, modifie et s&rsquo;int\u00e8gre finalement dans le paysage naturel. Des po\u00e8mes, dispers\u00e9s au sol, guident les pas des visiteurs, les invitant \u00e0 marcher au rythme des empreintes sonores de l&rsquo;artiste, audibles dans l&rsquo;espace.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"467\" src=\"https:\/\/hexagram.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/DEMO38_006.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-19064\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"uk-card uk-card-default uk-padding-large\">\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">Biographie<\/h3>\n<br>\n<p>Catherine D\u2019Amours est artiste multidisciplinaire et nouvellement professeure-chercheure \u00e0 l\u2019\u00c9cole de design de l\u2019UQAM. Elle s\u2019int\u00e9resse surtout \u00e0 la relation entre l\u2019humain.e et son environnement en mutation et l\u2019\u00e9volution des ensembles complexes de facteurs et de valeurs qui construisent l\u2019identit\u00e9 environnementale. \u00c0 travers l\u2019exploration de diff\u00e9rentes technologies, elle aborde les concepts de la solastalgie, de l\u2019\u00e9cosph\u00e8re et des \u00e9motions positives de la Terre dans le but de cr\u00e9er des exp\u00e9riences esth\u00e9tiques qui dialoguent avec l\u2019Autre.
