La convergence de notre r\u00e9alit\u00e9 physique avec le num\u00e9rique cr\u00e9e une r\u00e9alit\u00e9 hybride, lisible par les machines, permettant au monde num\u00e9rique de \u00ab\u2009voir\u2009\u00bb le monde physique. \u00c9tablissant un capitalisme algorithmique fond\u00e9 sur une r\u00e9alit\u00e9 multidimensionnelle qui red\u00e9finit notre quotidien, ce syst\u00e8me repose sur une nouvelle ressource essentielle&nbsp;: les donn\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le projet <em>The Panoptic Code<\/em> de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/fpimpu_crea\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Fanny Pimpurniaux<\/a> [membre \u00e9tudiante, UQAT] s\u2019inscrit dans ce contexte. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019occasion des RIMA 2024 du 6 au 8&nbsp;novembre ainsi que lors d\u2019une r\u00e9sidence de cr\u00e9ation \u00e0 l\u2019Agora des Arts de Rouyn-Noranda le 6&nbsp;d\u00e9cembre 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aujourd\u2019hui, le projet continue d\u2019\u00e9voluer sur tous les points, d\u00e9montrant \u00e0 travers une installation immersive, la manipulation technologique sur l\u2019humain. En travaillant sur une technologie qui nous \u00e9chappe \u00e0 cause de l\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration et de l\u2019amplification technologique, cette recherche-cr\u00e9ation montre la technologie gravitant autour de l\u2019humain, dans une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 dystopique o\u00f9 la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 est construite par le num\u00e9rique et cr\u00e9e une tension entre le corps et l\u2019\u00e9cran repr\u00e9sentant le tout connect\u00e9. C\u2019est-\u00e0-dire o\u00f9 il existe plus de non-humains connect\u00e9s que d\u2019humains. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le concept est de cr\u00e9er un monde dystopique inspir\u00e9 du transhumanisme, sombre, ravag\u00e9 par le c\u00f4t\u00e9 sombre de l\u2019humain. La technologie y a pris une place majeure en s\u2019immis\u00e7ant dans la soci\u00e9t\u00e9, mais aussi dans le corps humain, lui faisant perdre son identit\u00e9 propre. La perception y est alt\u00e9r\u00e9e, le bonheur s\u2019y paye. L\u2019humain n\u2019est plus lui-m\u00eame, manipul\u00e9 dans son monde. La ville est crypt\u00e9e, les <em>datacores<\/em> y sont partout. L\u2019exp\u00e9rience num\u00e9rique serait ainsi plus immersive que la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 elle-m\u00eame. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Le paradoxe du contr\u00f4le<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce concept d\u00e9crit une \u00e9poque o\u00f9 les machines n\u2019\u00e9galeront pas seulement l\u2019intelligence humaine, mais la d\u00e9passeront, d\u00e9clenchant ainsi un cycle d\u2019\u00e9volution technologique autonome. Selon cette th\u00e9orie, pass\u00e9 un certain point de d\u00e9veloppement, la civilisation humaine entrerait dans une phase de croissance technologique d\u2019un tout autre ordre. Ce d\u00e9veloppement, \u00e9tal\u00e9 sur une p\u00e9riode de quatre mois, a connu une \u00e9volution constante. Bien que je n\u2019aie aucune connaissance pr\u00e9alable de ce logiciel au d\u00e9but du projet, j\u2019ai entrepris de me former de mani\u00e8re autodidacte. Aujourd\u2019hui encore, je continue \u00e0 approfondir mes comp\u00e9tences pour repousser les limites de ce que je peux produire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour l\u2019aspect sonore, les compositions ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9es en rassemblant et mixant des sons libres de droits. Ces \u00e9l\u00e9ments ont permis de g\u00e9n\u00e9rer une ambiance sonore immersive \u00e9voquant l\u2019angoisse et la surcharge li\u00e9e aux donn\u00e9es num\u00e9riques, renfor\u00e7ant ainsi l\u2019atmosph\u00e8re dystopique de l\u2019\u0153uvre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La structure du projet a constitu\u00e9 l\u2019une des questions fondamentales du processus cr\u00e9atif. Apr\u00e8s une r\u00e9flexion approfondie, j\u2019ai opt\u00e9 pour l\u2019aluminium comme mat\u00e9riau principal. Ce choix d\u00e9passe la simple fonctionnalit\u00e9 pour devenir un \u00e9l\u00e9ment symbolique&nbsp;: l\u2019aluminium incarne \u00e0 la fois la froideur et le caract\u00e8re d\u00e9shumanis\u00e9 de l\u2019univers dystopique repr\u00e9sent\u00e9. De plus, sa fragilit\u00e9 physique, marqu\u00e9e par les empreintes laiss\u00e9es au contact, \u00e9voque la brutalit\u00e9 et la vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 inh\u00e9rentes \u00e0 cette soci\u00e9t\u00e9 futuriste. La structure n\u2019est pas un simple support pour la projection visuelle, mais une partie int\u00e9grante de l\u2019\u0153uvre, con\u00e7ue pour engager les spectateur\u00b7ice\u00b7s. Ces personnes deviennent \u00e0 la fois actrices et sujets de l\u2019\u0153uvre, sans avoir pleinement conscience d\u2019\u00eatre observ\u00e9es, bien qu\u2019il est possible d\u2019en ressentir les implications. En ce sens, l\u2019individu est transform\u00e9 en un \u00ab\u2009atome\u2009\u00bb isol\u00e9 dans un univers binaire de 0 et 1, captur\u00e9 par une r\u00e9alit\u00e9 technologique abstraite et envahissante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019\u0153uvre comprend \u00e9galement une introduction distincte, o\u00f9 les spectateur\u00b7ice\u00b7s peuvent tester les futures avanc\u00e9es interactives du projet. Dans cette phase introductive, une visualisation d\u00e9forme l\u2019image corporelle des personnes participantes, rappelant une surveillance par cam\u00e9ra o\u00f9 chaque donn\u00e9e est collect\u00e9e et analys\u00e9e. Ce segment amplifie la th\u00e9matique centrale de la surveillance et de la d\u00e9construction identitaire, tout en engageant activement les spectateur\u00b7ice\u00b7s dans l\u2019exp\u00e9rience artistique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ainsi, <em>The Panoptic Code<\/em> interroge non seulement notre rapport \u00e0 la technologie, mais aussi la mani\u00e8re dont elle red\u00e9finit nos perceptions et notre identit\u00e9 dans un monde satur\u00e9 de donn\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:75px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>La singularit\u00e9 th\u00e9orique du projet<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019art contemporain bouleverse <strong>la perception spatio-temporelle <\/strong>en questionnant notre relation au monde. Les spectateur\u00b7ice\u00b7s deviennent une partie int\u00e9grante de l\u2019\u0153uvre. Il explore un espace immersif plut\u00f4t que de contempler un simple objet. \u00c0 travers des exp\u00e9riences sensorielles nouvelles, il red\u00e9finit sa compr\u00e9hension de la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 et du temps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>L\u2019identit\u00e9 num\u00e9rique<\/strong>&nbsp;devient une entit\u00e9 fluide et multiple, fa\u00e7onn\u00e9e par l\u2019interaction en ligne, mais \u00e9galement vuln\u00e9rable aux dangers d\u2019un \u00ab\u2009suicide num\u00e9rique\u2009\u00bb r\u00e9sultant d\u2019une gestion d\u00e9faillante de l\u2019image virtuelle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette exploitation se radicalise avec le&nbsp;<strong>capitalisme algorithmique<\/strong>, o\u00f9 les algorithmes deviennent la nouvelle forme de pouvoir, dictant nos interactions sociales et \u00e9conomiques. Cette r\u00e9alit\u00e9 num\u00e9rique, fusionn\u00e9e avec le physique, g\u00e9n\u00e8re des artefacts impr\u00e9visibles, r\u00e9v\u00e9lant les limites et anomalies du syst\u00e8me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Enfin, l\u2019art explore la&nbsp;<strong>perversit\u00e9 du sublime<\/strong>, o\u00f9 l\u2019esth\u00e9tique d\u00e9passe le simple plaisir pour plonger dans des territoires ambigus et troublants. Ce sublime, m\u00ealant \u00e9merveillement et terreur, confronte les spectateur\u00b7ice\u00b7s \u00e0 leurs propres limites, suscitant fascination et inconfort dans un \u00e9quilibre pr\u00e9caire entre le beau et l\u2019effrayant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce monde, satur\u00e9 d\u2019informations et de surveillance, est le th\u00e9\u00e2tre d\u2019une d\u00e9shumanisation progressive o\u00f9 la fronti\u00e8re entre l\u2019humain et la machine s\u2019efface, laissant place \u00e0 une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de l\u2019ultra-contr\u00f4le, l\u2019humanit\u00e9 est en d\u00e9clin. L\u2019abondance des donn\u00e9es, dans cette dystopie, n\u2019a pas enrichi l\u2019humanit\u00e9. Elle l\u2019a d\u00e9pouill\u00e9e de son humanit\u00e9, r\u00e9duite \u00e0 une ressource exploitable, \u00e0 un \u00eatre manipul\u00e9, surveill\u00e9 et contr\u00f4l\u00e9 \u00e0 chaque instant.
