{"id":22057,"date":"2025-11-11T09:40:03","date_gmt":"2025-11-11T14:40:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hexagram.ca\/?p=22057"},"modified":"2026-04-13T12:41:58","modified_gmt":"2026-04-13T17:41:58","slug":"demo64-nancy-tobin-superheart-lopera","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hexagram.ca\/fr\/demo64-nancy-tobin-superheart-lopera\/","title":{"rendered":"DEMO64 Nancy Tobin &#8211; Superheart L&rsquo;Op\u00e9ra"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Novembre 2025<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cette DEMO se pr\u00e9sente comme un journal de cr\u00e9ation et de r\u00e9flexions port\u00e9es par Nancy Tobin, membre \u00e9tudiante et candidate au doctorat \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Son projet de recherche-cr\u00e9ation vise \u00e0 comprendre comment sa pratique assidue de la m\u00e9ditation a anim\u00e9 et guid\u00e9 la cr\u00e9ation de la performance d\u2019art sonore sc\u00e9nique&nbsp;: <em>Superheart L\u2019Op\u00e9ra<\/em>, pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e \u00e0 La Chapelle Sc\u00e8nes Contemporaines de Montr\u00e9al, du 9 au 12&nbsp;octobre 2024. Gr\u00e2ce au soutien de Hexagram-UQAM, une exploration de l\u2019acoustique et de la musicalit\u00e9 des structures du th\u00e9\u00e2tre a pu \u00eatre men\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">La m\u00e9ditation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00c0 force de m\u00e9diter avec une attention qui se peaufine toujours de plus en plus, je d\u00e9couvre une multitude de ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes dont la subtilit\u00e9 ne cesse de m\u2019\u00e9tonner.&nbsp; De plus en plus d\u00e9licats, de plus en plus t\u00e9nus, dans un \u00e9tat tranquille et attentionn\u00e9, je peux les rencontrer. Dans cet int\u00e9rieur que j\u2019explore, je comprends au-del\u00e0 de la pens\u00e9e discursive et rationnelle avec clart\u00e9. L\u2019exp\u00e9rience concr\u00e8te des ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes me r\u00e9v\u00e8le \u00e0 n\u2019en pas douter que rien ne dure, n\u2019est fix\u00e9, circonscrit pour toujours. Que je suis mal lorsque ce que je vis ne satisfait pas mes d\u00e9sirs et mes attentes.&nbsp; En fait, je comprends de plus en plus ma propre nature v\u00e9ritable et que l\u2019id\u00e9e que je me fais de moi-m\u00eame n\u2019existe pas. Je suis comme les ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes, sans substantialit\u00e9 ni stabilit\u00e9.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">La recherche-cr\u00e9ation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Je suis actuellement en cours de r\u00e9daction de th\u00e8se. Je tente de comprendre dans l\u2019\u00e9criture le processus de cr\u00e9ation au-del\u00e0 et en de\u00e7\u00e0 du soi. Au c\u0153ur du processus de cr\u00e9ation v\u00e9cu, j\u2019identifie des dispositions (comme des attitudes ou des postures), inspir\u00e9es de ma recherche m\u00e9ditative. En voici quelques-unes, elles sont parfois mises en corr\u00e9lation avec certains aspects concrets du processus de cr\u00e9ation de <em>Superheart L\u2019Op\u00e9ra<\/em>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dispositions de recherche-cr\u00e9ation qui se posent sur ma pratique de la m\u00e9ditation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Trouver sans chercher<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La pratique assidue de la m\u00e9ditation me permet de d\u00e9couvrir de nouvelles consciences (l\u2019esprit neuf de Shunryu Suzuki) de mani\u00e8re incorpor\u00e9e et exp\u00e9rientielle, sans chercher, mais plut\u00f4t en exer\u00e7ant le l\u00e2cher-prise, l\u2019accueil, la pr\u00e9sence attentive et attentionn\u00e9e. L\u2019effort \u00e0 exercer n\u2019est pas celui d\u2019essayer de trouver (recherche dirig\u00e9e vers une finalit\u00e9), mais plut\u00f4t de maintenir un \u00e9tat de disponibilit\u00e9 et d\u2019ouverture \u00e0 ce qui se pr\u00e9sente dans le vif de l\u2019instant.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dans un processus de cr\u00e9ation, cette posture de recherche se manifeste par l\u2019\u00e9vitement intentionnel du d\u00e9sir de contr\u00f4ler son d\u00e9nouement. Se lib\u00e9rer de son habituelle tendance \u00e0 se projeter dans une situation souhait\u00e9e est l\u2019effort \u00e0 exercer. Curiosit\u00e9 et confiance pr\u00e9dominent. Trouver s\u2019op\u00e8re en maintenant un \u00e9tat de disponibilit\u00e9 au lieu de chercher en fonction de nos attentes et de nos id\u00e9es pr\u00e9con\u00e7ues.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Savoir non compris et t\u00e2tonnement<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le terrain de recherche, je ne le connais pas encore avec pr\u00e9cision. Ce qui m\u2019habite est un amas d\u2019intuitions, des certitudes incorpor\u00e9es et irrationnelles. Des pr\u00e9mices m\u2019interpellent. Je me sens somm\u00e9e de les essayer, de les explorer, mais je ne sais pas encore exactement pourquoi. C\u2019est ce que je nomme \u00ab\u202fsavoir non compris\u202f\u00bb. Je fais confiance \u00e0 ces sensations. Je ne cherche pas \u00e0 les comprendre, \u00e0 les cerner, ni \u00e0 les ma\u00eetriser. Si impr\u00e9cises soient-elles, je respecte leur \u00e9tat. Je ne tente pas de les clarifier de mani\u00e8re abstraite (dans la pens\u00e9e) avant d\u2019en faire l\u2019exp\u00e9rience. Je cherche \u00e0 t\u00e2tons, en t\u00e2tant. Je touche, j\u2019essaye, <em>je marche dans le noir<\/em>. Mon approche est exp\u00e9rientielle, concr\u00e8te et incorpor\u00e9e. C\u2019est celle du \u00ab\u202ft\u00e2tonnement\u202f\u00bb.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Coh\u00e9rence \u00e0 post\u00e9riori<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Possiblement une illumination surviendra. La compr\u00e9hension du pourquoi de la pr\u00e9gnance des pr\u00e9mices sera \u00e9ventuellement plus claire. C\u2019est ce que je nomme la \u00ab\u202fcoh\u00e9rence \u00e0 post\u00e9riori\u202f\u00bb. Dans cette recherche-cr\u00e9ation, le \u00ab\u202fsavoir non compris\u202f\u00bb est la manifestation de l\u2019avenir dans le pr\u00e9sent et la \u00ab\u202fcoh\u00e9rence \u00e0 post\u00e9riori\u202f\u00bb est celle du pass\u00e9 dans le pr\u00e9sent. Tous les temps sont l\u00e0 simultan\u00e9ment dans le moment. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Le libretto atmosph\u00e9rique<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ce recueil de pr\u00e9mices (id\u00e9es initiales de tableaux, points de d\u00e9part), de citations, de pens\u00e9es et de dessins a \u00e9t\u00e9 remis \u00e0 toutes les personnes collaboratrices le 17 novembre 2023, lors de notre premi\u00e8re rencontre tous\u00b7tes ensemble, juste avant de commencer les r\u00e9p\u00e9titions. Il s\u2019agit d\u2019un proc\u00e9d\u00e9 de mise au diapason. Il ne contient aucun texte pr\u00e9cis \u00e0 r\u00e9p\u00e9ter (dialogues), aucune partition musicale \u00e0 interpr\u00e9ter non plus. Ce libretto, je le voulais atmosph\u00e9rique, simplement pour donner un esprit commun \u00e0 notre qu\u00eate. Sa conception s\u2019est d\u00e9roul\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 2023 pendant un atelier consacr\u00e9 \u00e0 cet effet. Sur une dur\u00e9e d\u2019environ un mois, j\u2019ai relu tous mes cahiers de notes manuscrites r\u00e9dig\u00e9s depuis le d\u00e9but de mes \u00e9tudes doctorales en 2018. Je grappillais les passages et les citations qui m\u2019interpellaient sans les questionner, sans trop y penser. Durant le processus de r\u00e9alisation du livret, j\u2019appliquais l\u2019approche inspir\u00e9e de la m\u00e9ditation que j\u2019envisageais de mettre en \u0153uvre pour la cr\u00e9ation de <em>Superheart L\u2019Op\u00e9ra<\/em>. Ancr\u00e9e dans le vif de l\u2019instant, je retranscrivais les mots grappill\u00e9s sur des feuilles s\u00e9par\u00e9es, parfois des id\u00e9es de dessins surgissaient.&nbsp; Impliqu\u00e9e dans l\u2019action, rien d\u2019autre n\u2019existait. Ni moi, ni mes attentes, ni mes d\u00e9sirs. Je dessinais et retranscrivais, rien de sp\u00e9cial. Le plaisir dans l\u2019\u00e9coute de mes traits de crayon qui fr\u00f4lent et \u00e9gratignent le papier, le plaisir d\u2019un dessin qui me vient sans l\u2019avoir cherch\u00e9. Tout ceci aura bien un sens. N\u2019aie pas peur. Confiance. Tout \u00e0 savoir est ici et maintenant pour qui est l\u00e0.&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La pr\u00e9sence ancr\u00e9e au c\u0153ur de l\u2019ici maintenant s\u2019est av\u00e9r\u00e9e une disposition g\u00e9n\u00e9ratrice de plusieurs recherches lors du processus de cr\u00e9ation de <em>Superheart L\u2019Op\u00e9ra<\/em>. Nous avons notamment investi le lieu tout entier des pr\u00e9sentations, le th\u00e9\u00e2tre de La Chapelle Sc\u00e8ne Contemporaines, comme s\u2019il s\u2019agissait d\u2019un instrument \u00e0 interpr\u00e9ter et \u00e0 d\u00e9couvrir \u00e0 chaque performance. Pour ce faire, lors de laboratoires de recherche dans le cadre de la r\u00e9sidence Hexagram-UQAM, nous explorions les qualit\u00e9s acoustiques du th\u00e9\u00e2tre ainsi que le potentiel musical de toutes ses structures. Le son du syst\u00e8me d\u2019\u00e9clairage inh\u00e9rent \u00e0 son fonctionnement (une empreinte sonore du th\u00e9\u00e2tre) est devenu pour nous la tonalit\u00e9 pour tous les moments d\u2019interpr\u00e9tation musicale. Entre douceur et effervescence pop, La Chapelle sonne pour c\u00e9l\u00e9brer le t\u00e2tonnement, l&rsquo;inattendu, l\u2019ouverture \u00e0 tout ce qui vient, dans un geste lumineux de gratitude pour le pr\u00e9sent.\u202fPour l&rsquo;occasion, le th\u00e9\u00e2tre se transformera en v\u00e9ritable instrument de musique. De menus d\u00e9tails sonores et visuels, d\u00e9pli\u00e9s avec patience, se substituent au grand d\u00e9ploiement \u00e9voqu\u00e9 par la forme op\u00e9ratique. Les attentes s\u2019\u00e9vaporent, le temps se dilate, les perceptions s\u2019amplifient. Le th\u00e9\u00e2tre vibre des pr\u00e9sences rassembl\u00e9es et redimensionne le spectaculaire en le r\u00e9v\u00e9lant dans l\u2019infime. L\u2019invitation autant pour les personnes sur la sc\u00e8ne que pour celles dans la salle est de s\u2019ancrer au creux de l\u2019instant pr\u00e9sent. La cr\u00e9ation <em>Superheart L\u2019Op\u00e9ra<\/em> se d\u00e9ploie dans l\u2019ici et maintenant, <em>in situ<\/em> <em>et in nunc<\/em>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En voici quelques extraits choisis surtout en fonction de leur visibilit\u00e9 devant la cam\u00e9ra fixe au centre de l\u2019assistance. Dans <em>Superheart L\u2019Op\u00e9ra<\/em>, la pr\u00e9occupation avant tout \u00e9tait celle de pr\u00e9server une qualit\u00e9 paisible, tranquille dans le travail. Tordre le possible raisonnable pour satisfaire le d\u00e9sir de mettre parfaitement en \u0153uvre une id\u00e9e pr\u00e9con\u00e7ue et abstraite a toujours \u00e9t\u00e9 inacceptable.
