Le compositeur nous fera la d\u00e9monstration des modes de spatialit\u00e9s sonores dans son travail et comment ceux-ci proposent des formes de po\u00e9sie de l\u2019espace. Cette activit\u00e9 est pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e en collaboration avec le laboratoire <a href=\"https:\/\/laboratoire-musiquescachees.uqam.ca\/\">Musiques Cach\u00e9es<\/a>, dans le cadre des <a href=\"https:\/\/hexagram.ca\/fr\/rencontres-interdisciplinaires-2026\/\">Rencontres interdisciplinaires&nbsp;2026<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u00c0 propos de Volmar Klien<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les \u0153uvres de Klien ont \u00e9t\u00e9 reconnues, expos\u00e9es, interpr\u00e9t\u00e9es et pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es dans un nombre important de contextes. Il a notamment re\u00e7u des commandes de la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.volksoper.at\/\">Volksoper Wien<\/a> (Vienne, Autriche), de <a href=\"https:\/\/empac.rpi.edu\/\">Curtis R. Priem Experimental Media &amp; Performing Arts Center<\/a> (EMPAC, Troy, NY). \u00c0 la <a href=\"https:\/\/momutype.com\/transitio-mx-03\">Transitio MX<\/a> (Mexico), il a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 une installation multim\u00e9dia explorant les paysages acoustiques. Dans son installation <em>Aural Codes<\/em>, financ\u00e9e par l\u2019Arts Council England, il a transform\u00e9 la sph\u00e8re radiophonique de Londres en espace d\u2019exposition, invitant les habitants \u00e0 syntoniser et \u00e0 interagir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Il a aussi collabor\u00e9 avec son fr\u00e8re chor\u00e9graphe <a href=\"https:\/\/www.michaelklien.com\/\">Michael Klien<\/a> sur de nombreux projets performatifs explorant les relations entre le son, le mouvement corporel et la communication humaine. Les \u0153uvres issues de cette collaboration continue ont \u00e9t\u00e9 produites et pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es au <a href=\"https:\/\/zkm.de\/en\/bienvenue-au-zkm\">ZKM Karlsruhe<\/a>, au <a href=\"https:\/\/oper-frankfurt.de\/en\/\">Ballet Frankfurt<\/a>, \u00e0 la Hayward Gallery de Londres, et plus r\u00e9cemment par la <a href=\"https:\/\/marthagraham.org\/\">Martha Graham Company<\/a> en coop\u00e9ration avec le <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newmuseum.org\/\">New Museum<\/a> (New York).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le travail de Volkmar Klien a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9compens\u00e9 par de nombreux prix et distinctions, parmi lesquels la Bourse nationale de composition de la R\u00e9publique d\u2019Autriche, une mention honorable au <a href=\"https:\/\/ars.electronica.art\/prix\/en\/\">Prix Ars Electronica<\/a>, le Max Brand Prize for Electronic Music, la bourse de l\u2019Orchestre Symphonique de Vienne, la bourse Alban Berg et le Gustav Mahler Prize for Composition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dans sa pratique artistique, Volkmar Klien s\u2019appuie sur une exp\u00e9rience issue de la recherche universitaire. Titulaire d\u2019un doctorat en composition \u00e9lectroacoustique de la City University of London, il a occup\u00e9 des postes de recherche au <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rca.ac.uk\/\">Royal College of Arts<\/a> de Londres, \u00e0 l\u2019<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ofai.at\/\">Austrian Research Institute for Artificial Intelligence (OFAI<\/a>) et \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de musique et des arts du spectacle de Vienne. Il est actuellement professeur de composition et directeur de l\u2019Institut de composition, direction et musique assist\u00e9e par ordinateur \u00e0 l\u2019<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bruckneruni.ac.at\/en\/\">Universit\u00e9 Anton Bruckner de Linz<\/a> (Autriche).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\"
