Nourri par des visites d\u2019autodromes et de festivals, le projet aborde la voiture comme une image tenace du progr\u00e8s aux promesses d\u2019efficacit\u00e9 et de libert\u00e9 face aux d\u00e9gradations et aux r\u00e9sidus qu\u2019elle g\u00e9n\u00e8re dans les paysages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La composition assemble une carcasse et des fragments de carrosserie \u00e0 un syst\u00e8me de pompes aux liquides color\u00e9s pour \u00e9voquer un v\u00e9hicule accident\u00e9 maintenu en vie. \u00c0 cette m\u00e9canique r\u00e9pond la pr\u00e9sence du roseau commun, une esp\u00e8ce exotique envahissante. Pr\u00e9sente au sud du Qu\u00e9bec le long de la Transcanadienne, sa propagation a \u00e9t\u00e9 favoris\u00e9e par les foss\u00e9s humides et les vents dans les couloirs d\u2019asphalte. Ce parall\u00e8le permet de penser la voiture comme un syst\u00e8me vivant et invasif, \u00e0 m\u00eame titre que cette plante qui b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie et participe malgr\u00e9 elle \u00e0 la transformation des paysages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pierre-Olivier D\u00e9ry est membre \u00e9tudiant et laur\u00e9at de l\u2019appel \u00e0 projet Hexagram-ELEKTRA 2025. La Galerie ELEKTRA cr\u00e9e un espace favorable \u00e0 la recherche esth\u00e9tique et discursive \u00e0 travers la production artistique num\u00e9rique.
