Non seulement connect\u00e9es \u00e0 leur environnement et au public mais aussi sensibles \u00e0 ce dernier, ces \u0153uvres nouent des relations entre la science des mat\u00e9riaux, la physicalisation des donn\u00e9es et les \u00e9tudes sensorielles, r\u00e9pondant \u00e0 des probl\u00e9matiques sociopolitiques et environnementales. Inspir\u00e9e de la \u00ab\u00a0l\u00e9gendaire hospitalit\u00e9 arm\u00e9nienne\u00a0\u00bb, cette installation invite le public \u00e0 un dialogue improvis\u00e9. Alors que les participants boivent, mangent et d\u00e9battent de l'\u00a0\u00bbart de vivre\u00a0\u00bb arm\u00e9nien, des capteurs \u00e9lectroniques filaires r\u00e9partis sur la table surveillent et collectent en temps r\u00e9el les donn\u00e9es relatives \u00e0 la respiration (concentrations d&rsquo;alcool dans l&rsquo;air, hauteur de la voix) et aux mouvements (agitation, vibrations). L&rsquo;environnement semble r\u00e9pondre aux actions de chaque participant : des distorsions lumineuses apparaissent sur la table, diff\u00e9rents paysages sonores \u00e9mergent des membranes acoustiques et les artefacts de la table se d\u00e9placent lentement tout au long du repas. Non seulement observatrice mais aussi participante, la table semble vouloir communiquer avec le public et s&rsquo;immiscer dans le d\u00e9bat, tant\u00f4t perturbant, tant\u00f4t stimulant la parole.\n<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;espace d&rsquo;exposition se transforme en un laboratoire exp\u00e9rimental activ\u00e9 par la fusion du public et des artistes. Sa couleur est anim\u00e9e par des lumi\u00e8res fluctuantes et des c\u00e2bles qui se d\u00e9ploient vers le plafond. Plut\u00f4t que d&rsquo;\u00eatre le r\u00e9sultat d&rsquo;une prise de vue, ces motifs r\u00e9sultent d&rsquo;un lent processus de mise en forme : incrust\u00e9 dans sa mati\u00e8re, l&#8217;empreinte d&rsquo;un dispositif \u00e9lectronique d&rsquo;affichage dispara\u00eet progressivement, tel le fossile de notre \u00e9poque. La membrane et ses capteurs sont connect\u00e9s aux tuyaux du Centre Georges Pompidou, convertissant en \u00e9lectricit\u00e9 les flux du b\u00e2timent. Examinant les enjeux socio-environnementaux et politiques entre l\u2019immat\u00e9rialit\u00e9 des informations et leurs repr\u00e9sentations sensibles, il s\u2019int\u00e9resse au potentiel interactif de la mati\u00e8re pour accroitre les perceptions sensibles des environnements publics. \u00c0 cet \u00e9gard, il souhaite renforcer les rapports sensibles entre les citoyens et leurs milieux de vie.<br>\n<span=\"\"><\/span=\"\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Il poursuit actuellement une th\u00e8se codirig\u00e9e entre l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 Concordia &#8211; Montr\u00e9al (programme individualis\u00e9) et EnsAD, EnsadLab &#8211; Paris (groupe de recherche Interaction r\u00e9flexive, programme SACRe). Il est membre du Speculative Life Research Cluster (Milieux Institute), du Centre for Sensory Studies et de la Chaire d&rsquo;excellence en recherche du Canada de la Canada Excellence Research Chair in Smart, Sustainable and Resilient Communities and Cities.
