Uncommon Senses III: The Future of the Senses

Call for proposals

Uncommon Senses III: The Future of the Senses will be taking place May 1–4 2020 at Concordia University, Montreal, Canada. Submissions are invited from scholars across the social sciences, humanities and arts interested in exploring the future of the senses in a changing world.

The call for proposals closes on November 15 2019. Proposals will be peer-reviewed and decisions rendered in mid-December 2019.

Hexagram at Touchdesigner Summit 2019

The 2019 edition of the Touchdesigner Summit ended just a few weeks ago. Hexagram is proud to have hosted this international event and to be part of the Touchdesigner community. Two Hexagram members also presented workshop and talks at the event, positionning the network as a key player in developping and sharing knowledge around this important tool for audio / visual creation.

Hexagram grants winners 2019

With the help of student grants, Hexagram wishes to provide concrete support to the research of its student members. Added to this is access to state-of-the-art infrastructure and equipment, integration into the governance of its network, and training.

This year again, about fifty projects were analyzed by a jury of members-researchers and an external expert.
