ARS ELECTRONICA 2018 - CAMPUS EXHIBITION

Hexagram Network is proud to announce that it will be presenting the campus Exhibition at Ars Electronica Festival in September 2018. This major event in Linz, Austria will put forward research-creation as it is being practiced by Hexagram members' works and methodologies.

Hexagram Network is proud to present the official selection of Ars Electronica Campus Exhibition. This exhibition will take place in Linz (Austria) from September 5th to 11th 2018.

We would like to take this opportunity to mention the excellence of received propositions from Hexagram members. In total over 80 submissions were evaluated by the Campus Exhibition selection committee.

Last January a call was launched to collect project proposals for two audio creation residencies at the CMMAS center in Morelia, Mexico. This artistic residency follows the visit in Montreal of Rodrigo Sigal (Director, CMMAS) and Francisco Colasanto (Technical Director, CMMAS) who worked during 10 days on the 32-loudspeaker dome installed at the mezzanine of the Agora Hydro-Québec du Coeur des Sciences by HexagramUQAM.

Audio creation residency in Morelia, Mexico

Hexagram Network has developed a partnership with the “Centro Mexicano para la Música y las Artes Sonoras” (CMMAS) as a cultural exchange in contemporary music and sound creation.

The Hexagram delegation has returned from the Ars Electronica Festival during which the network presented the exhibition "Taking Care" at the Kunstuniversität in Linz.

The exhibition was a great success with more than 2500 visitors and three exhibition venues: the Linz University of Art (Kunstuniversität), the Salzamt Gallery and the Deep Space 8K room in the Ars Electronica Center.
