The Hexagram Network is proud to count ELEKTRA, a major player in the field of digital arts, among its partners. This collaboration facilitates the discovery and dissemination of our members’ research-creation projects.
As a result, several of them are being engaged in high-profile international events, showcasing their innovative artistic practices.
Heading to Brussels
Philippe-Aubert Gauthier [co-researcher, UQAM] is part of a delegation organized by ELEKTRA to participate in iMAL in Brussels. This unique event brings together artists exploring performance and audiovisual creation from diverse perspectives. Over two days, stimulating exchanges will allow for the reimagining of digital art and the exploration of new creative horizons.
International Conference
Also in Belgium, Marc-André Cossette [student, Concordia] will speak at the KIKK Festival in Namur, where he will give a talk on the use of artificial neural networks in his creations. The KIKK showcases immersive works that challenge the truths of the digital age. This event hosts over 40 conferences on topics ranging from artificial intelligence to design, offering a platform for exchanges on creative technologies.
A Festival in Asia
Finally, the interactive installation Résonances by Louis-Philippe Rondeau [co-researcher, NAD-UQAC] will be presented by ELEKTRA at the Future Media FEST in Taipei, Taiwan. This festival, focused on how AI is transforming art on the brink of the Singularity, offers a reflection on the future of creativity and innovation.
The Hexagram Network is pleased to see its members contributing to these creative gatherings worldwide, affirming the essential role of digital research-creation in the arts.
