On Wednesday, May 7, and Thursday, May 8, 2025, the Hexagram Network will hold the symposium Monstration des œuvres arts et sciences au prisme du posthumain : agentivités plurielles, intersectionnel et spéculatif as part of the 92nd ACFAS Congress.

This symposium will bring together Francophone researchers interested in research-creation (RC) to explore emerging perspectives and innovative methods for transmitting knowledge derived from RC. Engaging with the issues of media-based RC and art-science collaborations, the event will contribute to mapping researchers’ practices and anchoring contemporary reflections on creation beyond the human.

Submissions from student members of the Network are highly encouraged and welcome!

While proposals from Hexagram Network members are prioritized, this call is open to anyone conducting research or curatorial work in art and science.

Your proposals are expected by January 25 and should include:

• A brief description of approximately 300 words corresponding to one of the formats listed in the French version of this article;
• At least one image if presenting a work;
• A short biography;
• Your contact information.
