On the occasion of the 92nd Acfas Congress, the Hexagram Network conference brings together French-speaking researchers interested in research-creation (RC) to open up emerging reflections and innovative methods of knowledge transmission.
The symposium Monstration of Art and Science Works through the Lens of the Posthuman: Plural Agancies, Intersectional, and Speculative contributes to mapping research-creation practices by aligning current explorations on creation beyond the human.
How do the questions raised by arts and science RC reanimate the object, recreate the scientific process, and represent it in an aesthetic form?
How are artifacts and meaningful fragments used to allow an audience to confront the questions at the source of the work?
How do these creations open up still largely unexplored avenues for knowledge mobilization and audience engagement?
The program of conferences, panels, and workshops proposes inclusive approaches and speculative works that take technoscience out of the ruts of commercial innovation (Auger, 2013; Dunne and Raby, 2013). It includes performative communications, dialogues between creators and authors, and practical case studies. These communications promote cross-narratives and feedback from intersectoral collaborations.
