This study day organized by the Chantier Performa offers a collective reflection on the current state of performance art dissemination networks in Quebec and internationally. It aims to foster dialogue, experience-sharing, and the development of shared perspectives among presenters and networks.

During the event, eight speakers will introduce their respective organizations through a brief, dynamic format, followed by open discussions addressing the ethical and political issues at stake in these practices. Through these insightful profiles, the public will discover a rich and multifaceted overview of contemporary contexts for the production, support, and dissemination of performance art.

By bringing together voices from diverse backgrounds, this event offers a valuable opportunity to better understand how performance art is imagined, organized, and transmitted—between the memory of practices, community-based foundations, and future-oriented visions.

This activity is produced as part of the 2026 Interdisciplinary Encounters.
