Timothy Belliveau is the recipient of a Hexagram Research grant for Post Glass and Digital Craft, a project experimenting with 3D print and hot glass. His interest is to create research by generating objects and discussions that can expose our changing relationship to materials and work.
After extensively studying ancient mould-made glass at the Ennion exhibition at the MET, Timothy has successfully created a 3D printed Bronze mold based off his research. From June 21- July 3 he will be actively producing glasswork at Pilchuck Glass School‘s Digital Fab Glass Lab in Washington state, where he has been hired as a teaching assistant for a glassblowing and 3D print research workshop.
Timothy will be entering into his second year of the MFA Studio Arts: Fibres and Material Practices program at Concordia this September.
