Arts and Sciences virtual meeting for networking and exchange of expertise – December 10, 5:30pm to 7:30pm
Jean Dubois, co-director of Hexagram, and Ghyslain Gagnon, Dean of Research at École de technologie supérieure, invite you to a virtual public meeting on December 10 at 5:30pm. The goal of this first informal meeting is to stimulate exchanges of expertise between researcher-creators in the arts and researchers in the sciences, and to support interactions between these research and creation communities in order to foster collaborations that “should lead to the production of artistic works or performances”, as jointly proposed by FRQNT and FRQSC in the PRISME pilot program.
Hexagram co-investigators (regular members) as well as Professors from Quebec universities working in research-creation related fields (those eligible to co-apply to PRISME according to the program guidelines) are invited to attend and present their most recent productions and projects in 180 seconds, alongside researchers invited by ÉTS. Those interested in joining the list of speakers should complete and send this form by December 4th. Presentations can be in English or French.
A follow-up workshop will be held on December 17 at 5:30 pm for paired principal investigators wishing to develop joint projects in the framework of the PRISME program or other programs, to help prepare the collaboration between co-applicants of interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences proposals.
Registration is mandatory only for speakers. The meeting is otherwise free and open to all audiences, particularly to Hexagram members, co-researchers, collaborators and students.
