93e congrès de l'Acfas

NAD‑UQAC and Chantier Ecotechnologies at Acfas 2026

The 93rd Acfas Congress will bring together the French‑speaking scientific community at the Université du Québec à Trois‑Rivières (UQTR) and online, under the theme Sciences sans frontières. Among the many presentations on the program, two colloquia are led by members of the Hexagram Network as part of this major gathering of Francophone science.

At a time of major social, technological, and environmental transformations, the 2026 Congress encourages participants to cross disciplinary, geographic, and cultural boundaries in order to strengthen ties within francophone research and open new perspectives for collective understanding and action.

Colloquium 617 — Esthétique de la rencontre : Installations interactives et immersives dans l’espace public

Thursday, May 14, 2026

In a context in which digital technologies can weaken collective experiences, SYNTHÈSE, in collaboration with NAD‑UQAC School, propose a colloquium to rethink interactive artistic devices as spaces for encounter, co‑creation, and knowledge sharing.

Interactive installations are examined as levers of social cohesion, capable of restoring connections and supporting meaningful collective experiences.

Colloque 601 — La recherche‑création, acteur de la transition socio‑écologique : matières, milieux et publics

Friday, May 15, 2026

Bringing together researchers and students from the Chaire de recherche municipale pour les villes durables (Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières, UQTR), Symbiose—Laboratoire intersectoriel en art, environnement et technologie (UQTR), and the Hexagram Network’s Chantier Ecotechnologies, this colloquium explores the potential of ecotechnological approaches through the case study of the Beaudet Reservoir in Victoriaville.

Research‑creation is considered here as a space for debate, experimentation, and the co‑construction of imaginaries and sociotechnical practices that support a just, sensitive, and inclusive ecological transition. The day, presented as part of the 2026 Interdisciplinary Encounters, will feature case studies, demonstrations, and roundtables addressing the ecological, social, and cultural dynamics of the site.
