The annual Speedcolloque of 1P1, the Extended Reality Experimentation Laboratory of the Université du Québec à Montréal, offers an opportunity to discover research and initiatives in extended realities carried out within the research and practice community. The 2026 edition will take place on June 8 starting at 9:00 a.m., in a bimodal format—on Zoom and in the Pierre Bourgault Room at UQAM (J-1450)—and will be presented as part of the 2026 Interdisciplinary Encounters.
Researchers, students, and collaborators will share their perspectives through presentations lasting three to five minutes each. At the same time, extended reality artworks and installations will be on display, providing opportunities to discover and experience immersive creations.
This call includes two tracks: presentations and exhibited works. It is open to everyone.
Submit your Proposal
For a Communication
Please submit, in a single PDF document, the following elements:
- Name(s) of the presenter(s)
- Bio(s) of the presenter(s)
- Title of the presentation (even if provisional)
- Brief description of the presentation
- Will the presentation take place in person or remotely (Zoom)?
For an Artwork to be exhibited
Please submit, in a single PDF document, the following elements:
- Name(s) of the artist(s) / Name of the collective*
- Title of the work (even if provisional)
- Description of the work
- Required floor space
- Required furnishings: (table, wall, etc.)
- Required equipment**
* Include collective members’ names
** Please specify the equipment you would like to borrow from 1P1 Laboratory
