Call for papers ━ thematic issue in the journal Captures

Interdisciplinary Contributions of Research-Creation:Knowledge, Through Wich Processes, and Under What Conditions?

Hexagram Network’s Chantier XR/Games is issuing a call for papers and invites anyone who is currently leading—or has previously taken part in—a research-creation project to submit a statement of intent for the proposal of a special issue at journal Captures.

Students are also encouraged to submit a proposal. Two formats are accepted: a full-length article or a counterpoint piece. Although the call itself is not available in English, proposals in English are welcome.

Affiliated with Figura (Université du Québec à Montréal), Captures is a French-language peer-reviewed academic journal that also publishes articles in English. Published twice a year, Captures is dedicated to the publication of articles that focus on figures, theories, and practices of the imaginary, without territorial or national limitations. The journal’s focus lies at the intersection of literary and film studies, the humanities, art history, architecture, and the visual and media arts.
