A series of events to explore the notion of “behavior” at the intersections of art, design and the sciences
From February 23rd to April 14th, 2019 – Centre Pompidou, Paris
In the framework of the exhibition “La Fabrique du Vivant” (cycle Mutations/Créations 3)
How do we create out of inspiration from living systems? How can we compose with such systems, or with living or semi-living organisms? Such approaches, which entail reconsidering the relationships between humans, non-humans, and environments, are deployed here through the exploration of the notion of “behavior”, whether it pertains to living, artificial, or hybrid systems.
In the framework of the exhibition “La Fabrique du Vivant” (Mutations/Créations 3) at the Centre Pompidou (Paris), the research lab of École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs, EnsadLab (EnsAD – Université PSL), in collaboration with several other partners, proposes a series of original activities within one single, unifying project: Behavioral Matter.
